Shipping about to begin! (Finally)

Hey guys!

Hope you're doing well. Its mid summer now and i'm sorry your socks arent yet with you. Currently theyre on the move, between the textile company on the East side of China to the shipping company on the south side of China near Hong Kong. Once again, there's always one delay or another. But I still think we're doing much better and faster than on the previous 2 projects.  Our current estimated shipping date is next Monday/Tuesday (27th/28th). So I hope most packages will be received from 10th to 15th of August.  

So the main issue that we run into every project, is the fact that we make new designs that havent yet been sampled. This is a really important part of the project, getting your feedback and input into bonus designs. But in this case, its a good job they insist on sampling before production. Below are some images they sent me... see if you can spot the error!

As you can see, we had too many colors on the Dr Mario design, so the factory just decided to replace Mario's skin color with... yellow! Not ideal! So we had to remove one color, and i thought brown hair would be the best. I hope it's not too bad for you guys. 

Movie Socks News

Also in transit right now are our movie sock samples. Just wanted to show a sneak peak at how four of them are looking. We have 2 more to come and some bonus designs as usual. Hope you like them.

Long Overdue Shipping Update + Movie Socks feedback

Hello! 

Hope you're doing well and enjoying the end of quarantines, curfews and lock downs! Sorry this update is long overdue, apologies for the wait. We're about 3 weeks behind schedule now, but i've been told production will be finished by the end of this month. So should be able to start shipping early July. Below is the timeline i posted at the start of the project, but with the new amended dates:

7th June (now 1st July): Finish Production and send to fulfilment company.

10th June (now 4th July): Start shipping!

17-24th June (now 11th - 30th July): receive packages!!

Movie Socks!

Over the last few weeks, i've been working on movie socks in my free time. And the first 5 designs are being sampled now, thanks to your previous feedback. You can see the first 5 below:

However, there's a 6th design that we're having some trouble picking a color scheme for. So it would be great to get your feedback on which of these, if any, would be a decent addition to our first movie socks project. We have quite a few other design ideas, including Back to the Future, Aliens, The Godfather, Titanic and Inception. But the design below has many different movie characters, so we want to get it right!

Once again, apologies for the long delay. I still hope we can get these out much quicker than on the last two projects. Take care and stay safe!

Helloooo,

Hope everyone is sane and getting by still. Thailand (where i'm currently staying) has just begun opening up again, so hopefully that's the case where you are too! 

Just wanted to let you know the surveys are finally here! Yours should have arrived in your email inbox last night - it's from Backerkit rather than Kickstarter, so maybe check your spam mail if it hasn't shown up.  At the bottom of this message is a quick reminder of the designs unlocked in the project. We have 8 in total, with a 9th (Dr Mario 2.0) available for a small additional fee in the add ons section.

Just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who filled in the survey and bought additional pairs from the Backerkit store. I can't tell you what a massive difference it makes financially to these projects to get additional sales from past projects. I run the projects almost at a loss, mostly just for the fun of it. But this part really helps me out a lot. Infact we've already sold out of 7 previous designs, which is something i really didn't expect! Fortunately there's about 15 more still available, some at close to the original production cost. So hopefully there's a bargain in there for everyone.   

Good luck with the survey, message me if there's any issues. As soon as we get every survey filled in, i can begin production. Then its just a 4 week wait plus shipping.  Oh and here are the sizes again: Medium EU 37-43, Large EU43-49

Hey guys,

Hope you're all doing wonderfully well, even in these difficult times. Thank you once again for giving us a big last couple of days, we smashed past the 200% target, so thanks to everyone who supported and shared the project. 

Dr Mario 2 - Please vote!

Well after listening to your feedback, we've decided to go for a messy pill design. That option was overwhelmingly the winner. So finally, i'd love to get your input for the color scheme for this design. We've added the germs as well. Though may space them out a bit more. Let us know your thoughts please. 

Either just tell us a number. Or specify the Large and Medium style if you have different preferences, or just want to pick one size. Ideally please only vote on the size you'll be wearing. 

 Surveys and Backerkit

You should be receiving an email with the survey any day now, as Kickstarter has just released the funds today. So please keep an eye out for that. Would be great to get them all filled in within a week. 

Unfortunately many shipping options are currently suspended due to Covid-19, which means some shipping options selected may be a little slower by a few days. And my margins will be severely reduced - as things currently stand. I hope by the time we ship, everything will be back on track. But all major countries that i checked out still have a viable option, accept South Africa at the moment. I hope you guys will please give the Backerkit store a look, as any extra sales will greatly help to make this project worthwhile. There are some very low prices in there, as well as some more rare designs.
